Bio: Driving Rea’s work is a longstanding interest in government and belief that everyone should have the right to participate freely in elections and have their voice heard. Bio 3: Rea has a long history of marrying legal knowledge with practical application, providing strategic counsel on launching, merging, and dissolving nonprofits. She advises organizations on issues such as complex transactions, state campaign finance law, securing tax-exempt status, intellectual property, lobbying, contracting, ethics, and more. Rea received her JD from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and her BA in political science and Afro-American studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
