Lindsey Kirchhoff joined the Council team after serving as a policy consultant for the Veterans Justice Commission, tracking legislative efforts for justice-involved veterans. She assists with veterans-related research and manages state-level education and dissemination efforts for the Commission’s recommendations.
Kirchhoff’s wide-ranging legal experience includes working at a human rights advocacy organization, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Georgia Justice Project, and the Veterans Defense Project. She also has served as the director of people at a software company and as a program analyst for the U.S. Navy. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Kirchhoff spent more than eight years as a personnel officer and assistant professor of philosophy at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Kirchhoff holds a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law; a Master’s Degree in dispute resolution from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine; a Master’s Degree in philosophy from Boston College; and a Bachelor of Science in social sciences from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
