Whitney Westerfield has served in the Kentucky Senate, and as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, since 2013. Westerfield also serves on the Commonwealth’s Commission on Race and Access to Opportunity; the Budget Review Subcommittee on Justice and Judiciary, and as Co-Chair of the Juvenile Justice Oversight Council, and served two years as a national Co-Chair of the Law, Criminal Justice and Public Safety Standing Committee with the National Conference of State Legislatures. Westerfield and his wife live in rural Western Kentucky with two children and triplets on the way.
