Salazar has practiced law for more than 35 years and was the first woman elected district attorney in California’s San Joaquin County. From 2015 to 2023, she built the first ever Family Justice Center, which provides services to over 1,500 survivors every month, and has helped more than 55,000 people with record clearance. Currently, Salazar is the founder and CEO of TVSLAW, leading the way for change in the practice of law to assist those who can’t afford to have their voices heard.
