Prior to joining the Council, Calina worked for a nonprofit organization that focuses on countering international human trafficking. In that role, she designed and oversaw internal systems, provided data analytics, and managed finances. Calina graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a focus on medical research, but opted to redirect her career toward engagement with community projects and non-governmental organizations. In her spare time, she provides systems development consulting services to other organizations.
