Rachel Yen manages the Council’s online and digital communications and works with the development team to support outreach to current and prospective funders. Before joining the Council, Yen led marketing and communications efforts for several other nonprofits, including organizations focused on food insecurity, women’s reproductive rights, sexual violence, and early childhood education. Additionally, she worked as an account executive at a marketing agency specializing in the nonprofit sector.
Yen earned her Master of Public Affairs with a focus on nonprofit management from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and Spanish from the University of Colorado Boulder.
