Mahoney is a member of CCJ’s Board of Directors and serves as the Board’s secretary.
Mona Mahoney is a legal professional with expertise in finance, equity investment, and real estate. In 2016, Mahoney joined M&T Realty Capital Corporation, a wholly-owned commercial mortgage-banking subsidiary of M&T Bank, and served as the company’s general counsel until April 2026. She was previously Associate General Counsel at Fannie Mae where she advised on mezzanine debt and equity investments, multifamily loan production and acquisition, and the acquisition, development, and construction of the company’s loan participation program. Mahoney previously served on the board of the Association of Corporate Counsel National Capital Region, a network of more than 2,400 in-house counsel from over 800 organizations in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and suburban Maryland.
