Robinson is the founding chair of CCJ’s Board of Directors.

Laurie Robinson twice served as Assistant Attorney General in charge of the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs, overseeing distribution of billions of dollars to state and local jurisdictions and launching initiatives on violence against women, drug treatment courts, and law enforcement technology. Consistently recruited for prominent national panels, Robinson co-chaired the White House Task Force on 21st Century Policing, which sought to build trust between police and citizens after Ferguson.
