Kristian Lum is a research scientist at Google DeepMind, where she leads a multi-disciplinary team focused on understanding and measuring societally impactful AI model behaviors. She’s a co-founder of the ACM Conference on Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency and previously worked at the Human Rights Data Analysis Group, where she led their work on AI and Policing in the United States.
