Lucy Loveless collaborates with CCJ’s executive leadership team to create and execute the organization’s development strategy. Her responsibilities include managing a portfolio of active and prospective donors to raise funds in support of the Council’s operations, staff, research, and policy projects. She works to increase the breadth and size of CCJ’s donor base to solidify its financial footing and ensure its continued evolution and contributions to the criminal justice field.
Prior to joining the Council, Loveless served as the fund operations manager for Imaginary Ventures, where she managed successful back-to-back capital raises. Earlier in her career, she worked in corporate communications, investor relations, and operations at Time Warner and HBO. Loveless has served as chair and a member of the Executive Leadership Council for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) since a successful fundraising campaign in 2018, when she was named the LLS New York City’s Woman of the Year.
Loveless graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from the Gallatin School at NYU.
